On our scale, 89 or above means the resume is ready to send. A 75 or 80 is close: usually a few fixes, like adding numbers or tidying dates. Scores from different checkers use different rules, so compare them only within one tool.

### How do I check if my resume is ATS friendly?

Hiring software (an ATS) reads the text in your file. Use a one-column layout, plain section headings like Experience, and dates next to each job. If your PDF is a scan or photo, the words can't be read, and our checker tells you.
