We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Barista / Server.

Position Overview

As a Barista / Server, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests, primarily during our morning breakfast and coffee service. This position combines coffee preparation, breakfast service, and traditional serving responsibilities.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and can create a warm, inviting atmosphere for hotel guests, locals, and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and provide attentive, personalized service.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with breakfast service, including presenting menu options and making recommendations.
  • Maintain and restock the coffee and pastry stations throughout each shift.
  • Ensure baked goods, breakfast items, and beverage stations are attractively presented and properly stocked.
  • Maintain knowledge of the breakfast menu, ingredients, and available offerings.
  • Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills and assistance.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, dining areas, and service stations.
  • Complete daily opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other team members.
  • Assist with additional restaurant service responsibilities as business needs require.
What We're Looking For

  • Previous barista, serving, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn coffee preparation, menu offerings, and restaurant service standards.
  • Flexible availability, particularly during morning and breakfast hours.
