Job description

What You'll Do

  • Set and execute the content and communications strategy for Morton Wealth and our sub-brands, including writing style guidelines and editorial standards.
  • Serve as the editorial authority for written work across the team, ensuring quality and consistency before content reaches senior leadership.
  • Own the HubSpot platform strategy - including segmentation, journey architecture, email content direction and audience targeting - and oversee the transition from outsourced to in-house management.
  • Lead AEO/GEO/SEO strategy across articles, newsletters, podcast show notes, website copy and advisor content.
  • Own the editorial quality of both Morton podcasts, including narrative arc, guest framing, scripting and storytelling standards.
  • Partner with outsourced consultants on earned media, advisor visibility, speaking placement and content performance reporting.
  • Conduct quarterly content and communications audits and translate finding into team action.

Who You Are

You are a strong writer and a strategic thinker who takes the craft of communication seriously, holds a high bar for quality across everything the team produces and is comfortable owning a content platform end-to-end. You see a newly created position at a growing firm as an opportunity to build something meaningful and are excited by the idea of growing into expanded responsibility over time.

What We're Looking For

  • At least three years of experience in content strategy, communications or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable content marketing platform.
  • A working command of AEO/SEO principles and how to apply them across content formats.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates range and quality.
  • Experience in professional services or a similarly relationship-driven industry - wealth management experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfort managing both internal collaborators and outside vendors or consultants.

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week. In office Monday through Thursday, with flexibility for at-home deep-work days and pre-approved remote hours.

Our Offer

  • A newly created role with real opportunity to shape how it grows over time.
  • A collaborative, people-first culture where your development is taken seriously.
  • Competitive compensation, retirement and health benefits.
