Health Care Aide

We are currently seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) to provide one-to-one client support in the Vancouver area. This role is ideal for an experienced Health Care Aide who is passionate about promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life while delivering person-centred care and support.

The successful candidate will develop a positive and respectful working relationship with the client while assisting with activities of daily living, community participation, mobility, and individualized support needs as outlined in the care plan. This position requires a dependable, mature, and professional individual who can work independently while maintaining a high standard of care and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, person-centred support in accordance with the client's individualized care plan.
Assist with activities of daily living and promote client independence wherever possible.
Support the client with community participation, social engagement, and daily routines.
Foster a respectful and professional relationship that promotes dignity, inclusion, and quality of life.
Observe and report changes in the client's condition, abilities, or support needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and communication in accordance with Bayshore policies and procedures.
Follow established safety protocols and infection prevention and control practices.
Collaborate with supervisors, family members, and interdisciplinary team members as required.
Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality at all times.
