Job description
Company description We are PG ONE. We are the ideas, production and media for over 30 of the world’s most known and loved brands from the world’s biggest advertiser, P&G (Procter & Gamble). When you see Pampers, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Fairy, Ariel, Always & Braun to name a few, that’s us. We are made differently to conventional agencies as we believe in the power of togetherness. Under one roof you’ll find creatives, designers, strategists, account teams, producers, project managers, data scientists, PR & advocacy teams and media talent, all working as one. And you’ll find a culture of pushing new boundaries to solve the most complex business challenges. We call this culture “Dare to be Different” and we are very proud of it. Because we know you have to keep breaking new ground, without fear, to be successful. Our Commitment Diversity and inclusion is a core part of who we are at PGOne. We’re committed to building an inclusive culture that encourages, celebrates and supports our wonderfully diverse employee group – whatever their age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability or ethnicity. Diversity and inclusion doesn’t just fuel our creativity and innovation, it brings us closer to our people and audiences. We will continue to strive to create a culture and environment where everyone feels empowered and more importantly comfortable enough to bring their full, authentic selves to work. Overview We are hiring a Junior Data Analyst to start their career at the intersection of data, social media and technology. You’ll join PG One’s social intelligence team, learning how online conversations can become useful evidence for some of the world’s best-known brands. You don’t need professional data experience or knowledge of our tools before joining, and you’ll receive structured training, mentoring and opportunities to learn through real work. It’s an opportunity to build practical skills while helping turn large volumes of social data into insights that inform creative, community and commercial decisions. Responsibilities What you'll be doing: Learn how to collect public social data and help build searches covering different brands, topics and markets. Clean and organise datasets, identifying duplicates, irrelevant content and useful information for analysis. Explore how Python and automation can make repeated data tasks simpler and more efficient, with support from experienced colleagues. Help analyse social conversations to understand themes, sentiment, conversation volume and share of voice. Check the quality of data and AI-assisted analysis, making sure findings can be traced back to their original sources. Turn analysis into clear tables, charts and examples that colleagues can use in their work. Work with strategy, creative and influence teams on real data requests, gradually taking on greater ownership as your skills develop. Qualifications Skills we're looking for: Curiosity about data, technology, social media and how people behave online. A logical approach to problems and an interest in understanding why the numbers tell the story they do. Confidence communicating your ideas clearly and asking questions when you need more context. Care and attention when working with information, including spotting when something doesn’t look right. An ability to explain what you’ve done clearly, whether through writing, numbers or simple visuals. An interest in learning about areas such as AI, data analysis and automation. Previous experience with tools such as Python or SQL is not required. A willingness to learn, try new approaches and build your skills with support from the people around you. Additional information Employees joining The Pack, an early careers programme that connects, supports and develops you to kick-start your career with us, initially start with an annual salary of £28,860. The recruitment process Step 1: Apply and get started! Step 2: Show us your skills and strengths – complete some fun, interactive tasks through our assessment tool delivered in partnership with Arctic Shores. Look out for this in your emails following your application! Step 3: A quick chat with a recruiter to get to know you better and for you to ask any questions and let us know if you require any adjustments. Step 4: Join us for a two stage interview process where you can showcase your skills and strengths. Step 5: We’ll give you feedback, post assessment day, whether or not we move forward with your application. 🌟 What to Expect from the Arctic Shores Assessment As part of our selection process, we use an Arctic Shores game-based assessment to help us understand your natural strengths in a fair, engaging way. This isn’t a quiz about what you know, it’s about showing how you think, behave and solve problems in real time. What it is A series of interactive tasks (games) designed to measure problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, focus and other work-relevant behaviours. You won’t see typical questions, instead, you’ll play activities that look and feel like simple games. How it works You’ll receive an email with a link and simple instructions. Before the official assessment you can try a practice task so you’re confident with the format. The assessment usually has around 7-9 tasks and should take about the same time as a standard online test. Tips to succeed Choose a quiet, distraction-free space with a reliable device. Read the instructions carefully before starting each activity. Be yourself - Arctic Shores is designed to capture how you naturally approach challenges, not what you think is the “right” answer. After you finish Candidates receive a personalised feedback report that explains what your responses suggest about your strengths - valuable insight whether you join us or not. There are no right or wrong answers PGOne offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees. Full details are shared when you join, but highlights include core benefits such as Pension, Life Assurance, and Private Medical cover, alongside enhanced policies like Reflection Days and Shared Parental Leave. You’ll also have access to a range of additional initiatives, including: 📖 Please check out the Publicis Career Page which showcases our Inclusive Benefits and our EAG’s (Employee Action Groups). Publicis Groupe works primarily from the office or our clients' office four days per week. At PGOne, we are proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, disability, age, citizenship, relationship status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic. We are committed to providing a fair, accessible, and inclusive recruitment process. If you have any access needs - for example, related to disability, neurodivergence, or a health condition - please let us know. We’ll work with you to ensure the process works for you. Sharing this information will never impact your application. Guided by our values, we listen with empathy, uplift each other, take responsibility, and embrace change - building a culture where everyone feels seen, respected, and genuinely included. #LI-DNI
