You’ve spent time in preschool classrooms and you know what 3-year-olds need: routines, patience, a lot of encouragement and some fun. Now you want a classroom that’s yours. • Planning and leading activities that build social, emotional, physical and early learning skills
• Running steady daily routines with smooth transitions
• Using positive guidance to help children learn independence and how to get along
• Keeping children safe and supervised, following licensing requirements
• Keeping your classroom clean, organized and welcoming
• Partnering with families, your co-teacher and center leadership

What you bring

• 2+ years of classroom experience with children ages 2–5
• High school diploma or GED; at least 18 years old
• Patience, flexibility and a real love for young children
• Ability to get down on the floor with kids, stay on your feet, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
