Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Labor and Employment Paralegal to join our legal team. This role will work closely with our Settlement Department, particularly on PAGA cases, assisting with case review, document preparation, settlement coordination, and ensuring all procedural requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafts of Wage and Hour Class Action and PAGA Action Settlement Agreements
  • Drafts of Individual Claims Settlement Agreements and Settlement Distributions.
  • Drafts of Class Notices and obtain bids from Settlement Administrators.
  • Drafts of Motions for Preliminary Approval, including client declaration, Proposed Order, Settlement Administrator Declaration, and Proof of Service.
  • Drafts of Motions for Final Approval, including client declaration, Proposed Order, Proposed
  • Judgment, settlement administrator declaration, and Proof of Service.
  • Stipulations to Amend Complaints in settled cases and Prepare Amended Complaints.
  • Attorney declarations in support of Motions.
  • Joint Reports on settled cases.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in employment law/settlement department.
  • Strong understanding of employment law concepts and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
