The role owns platform components from design to production and improves the developer experience on zCLOUD.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform services: build core platform services for the zCLOUD ecosystem.APIs: design APIs and services for internal and customer-facing use.Secure multi-tenancy: enable secure, scalable, multi-tenant infrastructure usage.Collaboration: work with research, solutions and GPU teams on platform needs.Operational tooling: implement reliability, observability and operational tooling.Ownership: own platform components from design to production.Developer experience: improve developer experience and system extensibility.Documentation: document platform architecture and service contracts.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience building platform or cloud servicesStrong software engineering and system design skillsExperience designing and operating APIs at scaleComfort working in fast-growing, ambiguous environmentsA strong sense of ownership and accountabilityBonus QualificationsExperience with cloud-native or infrastructure platformsFamiliarity with identity, security or access control systemsExperience supporting internal developer platformsBackground in AI- or GPU-centric environmentsWhat Success Looks Like (First 90 to 180 Days)New platform services or APIs shipped and adoptedService contracts documented for internal and customer useMeasured improvement in developer experience or reliabilityOperational tooling in place for owned componentsWhy This Role MattersThe surface customers use: zCLOUD's APIs and services are what customers and internal teams build on.Ease of use: this role decides how simple GPU-optimised infrastructure is to adopt.Working Norms at ZettabyteBias to action: deliver drafts quickly, then iterate on feedbackBe precise: double-check numbers and facts; sloppy analysis creates downstream costMake it usable: package outputs for decision-making, not data dumpsOwn the process: whoever drives a deliverable manages stakeholders and timelinesLearn the ecosystem: understand GPUs, cluster operations and the buyer landscape
